It seems like a perfectly good bed to me! It's really just Mort taking Noah up on that point about needing warmth to survive. That's all.

Probably rather coarse and heavy. The undercoat is where the really soft stuff is, but hey, it's warmth, even if it'd be like lying on shag carpet.

I mean...I'd just lay right back down. Sure, I might be slotted for breakfast ,but until then...Mmmm, warm, gurgly fire demon belly. I bet its super snug. Gotta wiggle on in there.
